Little Tikes Pink Shopping Cart Review
Every kid wants to push the cart at the store until they actually try to push the cart. It doesn’t stop them though. They might get about 10 feet until they decide to give up. Even after that, they are dying to get in for the ride.
Here’s the next best thing, getting their own shopping cart they can push around whenever they want at home. They can pretend to shop by adding whatever they want when they want. This is why I bought the Little Tikes Shopping Cart for my girls.

Parts and Construction
I was actually surprised this needed as much construction as it did. It was pretty straight forward. Especially for a Little Tikes toy. Some Little Tikes toys can be a bit of a hassle to put together but this was generally no problem.
The biggest concern was making sure the wheels were on and even. If you follow the instructions just fine, you should have no issues. Just make sure you have space on each rod so can get each wheel on evenly. Also, just sure to get the wheel caps on well. Kids can be kinda rough with this item so making sure the wheels are on securely is a priority.

How it Plays
Kids at just about any age can use the shopping cart however they want to play with it. Sometimes my kids would play with toy food like they were at the store. Sometimes they would throw any of their own toys in and just use it as an advanced stroller for all of their dolls and such.
This shopping cart also doubles as a walker. I might be slightly high but little toddlers are gonna want to try to walk with shopping cart as my oldest did when she was just learning to walk.
I do admit, however, that we have been guilty of using the shopping cart in various races around the house (don’t judge). This is where I found out that the colored plastic wheel covers can come off pretty easily especially when turning. So my solution to this was to add some scotch tape to the cover and the wheel base so it doesn’t come off during extreme maneuvers. Worked like a charm.
I after this I have found no fault in this product. The kids have endless fun anytime they want to lug some of their toys around.

Cleanup and Storage
You might have to be creative when storing the shopping cart. This item doesn’t fold down or condense itself when not in use so basically you will need to find a small space where this will fit.
We just used a corner where some of our other toys are stored. You can be a bit more creative though. If have a dedicated room, space, cabinet, or container where more of your toys are stored, that would be a better bet.
