Little Tikes Activity Garden Review
When my oldest was just learning to crawl, I was in the need for a toy that would keep her occupied and challenge her at the same time. The Little Tikes Activity Garden was basically the perfect toy for just that. It’s a great sized little play area where little toddlers can learn to stand and do various activities to get their motor skills going.
Both my kids spent a good amount of time in the Little Tikes Activity Garden. There were a number of activities that they really liked and a couple they didn’t. Every kid is different. Let’s break down exactly what will make the Little Tikes Activity Garden great for your kid.

This infant Activity Garden incorporates a variety of baby toys and activities to develop motor skills and cognitive ability. Infants will love the stimulating colors, shapes and textures.
Parts and Construction
Before I even get into it, yes, assembly is required. This being said, the assembly is not bad. The difficulty is nothing compared to the Cozy Coupe. Just set aside at least 30 minutes to get this done. Little Tikes usually does a good job of laying out the instructions. This one is no exception.
Once you get the Activity Garden built, you’ll have to put on the decals. For me, this is the hardest yet most favorite part. Why? Because it is simple to do but you have one chance to get it on perfectly. The thing is, you might beat yourself up about getting the decals on wrong like I do. Sure, they might be on like that forever but your child is not gonna care one bit. Just remember that.

How it Plays
The Little Tikes Activity Garden is perfect for toddlers right around the ages of 6 months to 1 and a half. The height of the unit is perfect. The variety of activities are great for their learning age.
The activities include a clear telescope, a mailbox that has shapes, a ball drop with window, a door with a piano, and my kids favorite – the two sided play panel. Mine had a phone and a clock. The latest version has other various activities.
Another great thing you can do with the Little Tikes Activity Garden is open it up so the unit can extend longer so its activities are opened up to maybe even support another child for a play date. Doing this takes up a bit more space so make sure you have the room before doing this. Especially if your kid is not used to getting around on their own yet.

Cleanup and Storage
Sorry to say that the Little Tikes Activity Garden is not really storage friendly. There is no real way to store this thing. You’ll really want a dedicated spot for this toy unit. You can try to open it and put it against the wall or something but that’s about it. The dedicated spot is the way we stored it. Just remember this when making your purchasing decision.

The Little Tikes Activity Garden is a great toy for your toddler to learn and keep themselves occupied. Just make sure you have enough space in your home and your little one should be able to play and learn as a toddler should.
