LeapFrog Learn and Groove Musical Table Review
This is one of the only toddler tables my kids have ever had. I’ve gotten my kids walkers, riding toys, and smaller learning toys but never a table that was a learning center. Activity tables usually have a number of different activities on top of it for your little one to do. The LeapFrog Learn and Groove Musical Table is no exception.
When we got the LeapFrog Learn and Groove Musical Table my kids were 4 and 1. My 4 year old was obviously a bit too old to be playing with this. But my 1 year old, she really got into it. Let’s get into what makes the LeapFrog Learn and Groove Musical Table special.

You do need to put this thing together when you pull it out of the box. It’s not tough at all though. The legs are separate from the table top and they need to be connected manually. You could also decide to use this without legs if your child is not yet walking or strong enough to pull themselves up to use the activity table. I recommend adding them even if your child is not ready so your kid can learn to pull them self up to use it. This would help their motor skills overall.
The LeapFrog Learn and Groove Musical Table does need 3 AA batteries to get the sounds going. The panel for the batteries is on the back of the table top unit. Remove the panel piece and put the 3 AA batteries in. The button for the sound volume is right next to the batteries panel. You can slide it from off to low to high.

How it Plays
Once everything is installed, you can flip it over and your little one can start playing with it. This table has 2 different modes of play and learning. It’s all based on the book in the middle. You can flip the page over on one side and you will get a learning mode for learning shapes, colors, etc. Flip the page over to the other side and you’ll get the music side. This side will help your child with many instrument sounds and familiar child songs.
Other than the book that basically switches the type of play, there are 6 musical activities that your kids can enjoy. They all play various sounds and songs like “Old McDonald”, “the Alphabet song”, and other popular children’s songs.
Take note, my unit is pretty old. They have made a new version that is available now. According to others who have bought the latest version, the newer one is much lighter and can be pushed around easier than my older unit.

My youngest had a blast trying to stand and jam on the LeapFrog Learn and Groove Musical Table. That being said, don’t think you won’t get annoyed – you will. As with many other children’s toys, you’ll be hearing the same sounds over and over…and over. But if you are a good parent, you won’t mind as long as you know your kid is learning and having fun.

Cleanup and Storage
The LeapFrog Learn and Groove Musical Table is not huge but it doesn’t really fold down well you need to put it away. You could remove the legs if necessary but I believe the best bet is to have a big enough storage location where you can just set this table when not in use
Everything is attached to the LeapFrog Learn and Groove Musical Table so you do not need to worry about loosing playable items from the table. All you need to do is find a suitable spot. That’s it.

Overview
This is a great learning table. Your little one will love doing whatever they want to do on it. It might be annoying at times but it keeps them satisfied and busy when you might need them to be busy.
The was a review of one of the older versions of this product. The newest version might have some slight differences. It’s available on Amazon along with the pink version as well.
