So my aunt sent my kids a package one day. In this package was a toy. These toys were in a egg carton look alike And I initially thought this had to be one of the cheapest toys I have ever seen. My kids love surprise toys so they are most likely gonna love this too.
These are the Hatchimals Colleggtibles. They are designed to look like this because this is the design they are going for. They make each egg inside a surprise to the kids opening them up.

Opening it Up
I really didn’t know what to expect from these Hatchimals CollEGGtibles. This was the first time I have ever seen them before so I was new to this brand of toy. I was a little put off to find them in a container that looked like an egg carton only to find out that it was filled with eggs. We figured out that you had to break open the eggs to get the small animals that were inside.
Breaking the eggs open is the the worst for me. I hate the stuff. They do a good job of making the egg substance seem like actual egg shell material. Once you start breaking it, the material crumbles. This stuff gets everywhere if you are not careful.

I would suggest that you have your kids break open the eggs on a table or surface where you can keep the mess centralized so you can clean it up very easily. You’ll definitely need to break the vacuum out if you break the eggs open on the carpet. Yes, there is a lot of trash when it comes to these Hatchimals. Be ready to handle it before some kid runs off and starts breaking them open everywhere in the house.

This is where the surprise factor comes into play with the Hatchimals CollEGGtibles. This part is probably the most fun you’ll have out of the whole toy. Kids love finding out what’s inside these eggs. More so than the actual play item itself. This is probably why these surprise type toys are really popular these days.
After all that discovering, not only will you have a bunch of trash to clean up, but you’ll be left with 12 different Hatchimals to play from. Here’s the thing about these Hatchimals – they are only good if you have other Hatchimals toys to play with. Well, if your kids have a good imagination, they can find plenty of ways to play with these also. I do recommend some other Hatchimals toys if you are going to buy a 12 pack Egg Carton. If you are just a collector, then no worries.
